TEAM COMPETITION (21 August 2022)
General Information:
This activity has been designed to be implemented during the first week of the EJC22, along with the Teams Competition.
Date:
Sunday 21 August, 2022
From 14:00 to 20:00
Deadline to submit the entry:
Saturday 20 August at 16:00
Competition System:
Three matches of 20 points conducted through the relay system will be played in every team match. The first team in reaching 60 points will win the team match.
The matches conducted will be as follows:
XD (2vs2)
3vs3 (two female players + 1 male player)
3vs3 (two male players + 1 female player)
The same player can't participate in more than 2 matches per team match.
* This competition system has been adapted from the BWF relay system
Teams’ composition:
This competition is available FOR ALL, which means that players, team managers, coaches, staff, technical officials, volunteers, and spectators can partake in.
A team shall consist of at least 4 players (2 Male and 2 Female players) although teams can also be entered with 3, 2 or even 1 player. We will try to help them find the candidates they're missing.
Unlimited players can be registered on the team in case a replacement is needed.
Schedule and further information:
The schedule along with all the information will be published on the APP Sportity.
Get the APP by scanning the QR Code on the posters around the venue and accreditation. The password EJC22 needs to be entered to have access to all the necessary info.
Prizes:
There will be prizes for the winners and runners up handed out at the end of the competition.
Equipment:
If players don't have the necessary equipment, there is the possibility to borrow a racket, and shuttles will be provided on site.

3vs3 COMPETITION (25 August 2022)
General information:
This activity has been designed to be implemented during the second week of the EJC22, along with the Individual Competition.
Event date:
Thursday 25 August, 2022
Time: starting at 14:00 and finishing around 20:00

Wednesday, 24 August 2022 at 16:00
Location: Outside, at the entrance of the venue

Competition System:
The competition system will be decided on site based on the number of registered teams Matches will be played to 11 points the best of three games. If the score is tied at 10-10, the side which gains a two-point lead first will win the game. If the score becomes 12-12, the side scoring the 13th point wins the game.
